Sutter County approves tentative parcel map to split 275-acre farm
The board unanimously approved a tentative parcel map (Project U25-002) to divide a 275-acre agricultural parcel into a 160-acre and 115-acre agricultural parcel and to rescind and replace an existing development-rights agreement encumbering the site.

The Sutter County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a tentative parcel map on July 22 to split a 275-acre agricultural parcel into two parcels of roughly 160 and 115 acres (Project U25-002). County planning staff said the proposal would rescind and replace an existing development rights agreement so that the new parcels remain encumbered against new residences.
