Sutter County honors retiring public guardian and issues multiple proclamations for public-safety and community observances
The board presented a gold resolution honoring Wanda Short for 32 years of service and issued proclamations recognizing dispatcher appreciation week (April 13–19, 2025), National Fentanyl Awareness Day (04/29/2025), International Firefighters Day (May 4), National Correctional Officers Week (May 4–10), National Small Business Week (May 2025), National Nurses Week (May 2025) and National Bike Month (May 2025).
