The Sutter County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution Feb. 25 updating rules and regulations for the Sutter County Airport, clarifying the airport manager’s duties and authorizing the Sutter Butte Aviation Association (SABRA) to act on the manager’s behalf in certain circumstances.
Neil Hayes, who presented the matter, told the board the updates address tenant delinquencies and clarify gate operations at the north and main entry gates. The resolution also establishes an annual fee‑setting mechanism: SABRA will survey comparable hangar and tie‑down rates and the board will annually set charges, with the current update amounting to about a 2.5% increase aligned with inflation under the county‑SABRA agreement.
The board closed the public hearing with no speaker comments and approved the resolution by roll call.
