Board accepts exhibits, executes prior orders and schedules upcoming cases

At the start of the meeting the Board accepted Exhibit A (Jefferson County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 400 — Unified Development Order) and Exhibit B (staff report and case files) into the record after a motion and vote. Later, the board accepted supporting letters from a neighbor (Mr. Medlock) and the Mayfield Farms Homeowners Association for BOA25005.

The board also formally executed Board of Zoning Adjustment orders from the previous month following a motion and vote. Staff informed members that there are two submitted cases for the next month’s agenda and a possible third, and members noted the resulting heavier workload.

A board member asked whether submitted plans and plot/site plans are publicly available. Staff and another speaker clarified that application files are public records and are typically uploaded roughly one week before the meeting; full house plans are not available online but may be reviewed in person, and recorded surveys must be obtained from the county recorder’s office.
