The House Committee on Environment and Energy voted to report substitute senate bill 62 69 out of committee with a due‑pass recommendation after a brief staff reminder and discussion. Committee staff Jacob Wilson explained the bill modernizes the Motor Fuel Quality Act’s definition of motor fuel to fold in alternative and gaseous fuels so the state can test and validate newer, cleaner fuel types used to propel vehicles.
