Committee advances a slate of bills; multiple due-pass recommendations and amendment adoptions recorded
During the Feb. 23 executive session the Law and Justice Committee adopted amendments and issued 'due pass' recommendations—sending bills including substitute HB 2158, substitute HB 2239 (as amended), HB 2178, HB 2543, ESHB 2165, ESHB 2532 and ESHB 2320 to the rules committee subject to signatures—via voice votes and adopted several amendment roll-ins.

Following public hearings, the Law and Justice Committee met in executive session and took a sequence of procedural motions and voice votes to adopt amendments and recommend bills be sent to the rules committee.
