Engineering says Hopewell South work advancing; March 2 meeting with utilities planned, May planning commission date possible
City engineering reported topographic and boundary surveys, geotechnical testing, drainage analysis and preliminary utility layouts are underway for the Hopewell South PUD; staff said a March 2 meeting with CBU will review preliminary drainage strategy and aiming for a May planning commission date carries schedule risk.

Kendall Kenoke of the engineering department told the Regal Development Commission on Feb. 23 that work on the Hopewell South project has moved quickly since the contract was approved three weeks ago. Kenoke said the team received a previous topographic survey that can be used for design, is completing a boundary survey, has started geotechnical borings and is running drainage analyses.
