Bill Rich, chair of the Historic Landmarks Committee, told the Arcata City Council on Feb. 18 that the committee completed five meetings this year, shifted to a bimonthly schedule to improve attendance, and is close to finalizing a historic context statement that will be circulated to tribes for review.
