The House Insurance Committee entered multiple bill requests during the session: RS 2830 (Patients Right to Save Act) introduced by Representative Carpenter; RS 2685 on hospital billing screening entered by the chair; 26RS3082 on insurance/patient affordability entered; and 26RS3328 on insulin coverage and an insulin affordability program introduced by Representative Meyer. The committee scheduled further hearings and adjourned.
