SCR 203 confers an honorary recognition of Ross’s civic contributions in Multnomah Village and across the state, noting his roles with local media and in organizing community efforts. Frederick highlighted Ross’s involvement in neighborhood association leadership and in making politics more accessible, and thanked Ross’s family for his community work.
The Senate stood at ease to allow family and loved ones to recess to the aisle after adoption. The resolution was carried on third reading by the required constitutional majority and the chamber gave the family the customary honors.
