Students and staff from Northside Elementary presented their five-house system (Kindness, Ambition, Discovery, Gratitude, Perseverance) to the school board, showcasing chants, ambassadors and social-emotional learning goals.

Northside Elementary School principal Jeff Revere and teacher Mrs. Parkin brought students to the Elko County School District Board of Trustees to demonstrate the school's house system, a schoolwide structure that groups students and staff in mixed-grade "houses" to promote belonging, leadership and positive behavior.
