On Feb. 12, the Rock County Board of Supervisors voted to enter executive session to consider the county administrator's performance evaluation under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c). The motion to go into executive session was made by Supervisor Woodman and seconded by Supervisor Mawhinney. A roll-call vote recorded 20 yes and 1 no.
Prior to the executive session, Administrator Light said he would step out of the room and remain available for process or rule questions by phone or email but would not participate in substantive evaluation discussions. "I don't wanna be involved nor can I be involved in the substantive discussions, but process questions, I'm happy," he said.
