DuPage County Board approves routine finance items, grants and multiple contracts

The board also accepted a $50,000 Illinois court technology modernization program grant for the 18th Judicial Circuit Court.
Procurements approved in committee included a purchase order to CDW Government to acquire IT equipment for the Election Commission, not to exceed $129,396.16, and a contract for human-resources consulting to Marsh & McLennan Agency for up to $600,000 (04/01/2026–03/31/2029) to assist with evaluation of health and wellness benefits. The board also approved a recommendation to use opioid settlement investment earnings for the DuPage County Health Department.
Other items approved by committee votes and roll calls included vehicle and equipment purchases for departments (e.g., Curry Motors van for animal services not to exceed $59,007.29; Cary Motors vans for facilities management), IT maintenance agreements, and a contract for off-road diesel supply through Petroleum Traders Corp (not to exceed $101,000). The transportation division’s bulk-rock-salt contract with Compass Materials America Inc. was amended to increase encumbrance by $212,370 to a revised total of $920,270.
