Curry County approves chip-seal/overlay bid process, authorizes manager to execute contracts
Commissioners approved awarding top chip-seal/overlay bidders and authorized County Manager Lance A. Pyle to execute contracts so road crews can continue maintenance without repeated commission approval.

County Road Department staff presented results of an invitation to bid for chip seal and overlay work (Invitation to Bid 2025/26-01). Wayland Jones explained six contractors bid on packaged options (chip seal with and without county-supplied rock; overlay with different oil types) and recommended awarding contracts to the top three responsive bidders to ensure project continuity and scheduling flexibility.
