Colton SD 53 board adopts updated policies A–I on second reading

Committee member (S4) said the policies had been reviewed by district reviewers and that redlines and brackets were removed before finalizing. “This was reviewed by Eric and Tim,” Committee member (S4) said. “And then we took the red lines and the brackets off and put the finalized updated policy revisions in the packet.”
Board members said they had an opportunity to review the packet and the bracketed comparison information was kept in the back of the packet for reference. The Chair called the vote after no further public comment or board questions.
Next steps: the adopted policies will be incorporated into the district policy manual and discussed further at future meetings as needed.
