The committee said access rules will vary by building: at Mifflin no kindergarten students may check out the book and first graders may only check it out in the second half of the year; at Eastview and Madison South kindergarten and first graders would not have access because the book is not in their sections based on reading level. The committee—s recommendation was presented to the full board and accepted on a roll-call vote.
