On bills, the board handled RT Rogers Oil Company separately as previously moved; a motion to pay RT Rogers passed with a recorded 4‑0 vote and Mr. Brogan recused himself from that vote. The remainder of the bills was approved in a subsequent motion by a 5‑0 vote.
Personnel items were considered: the board approved retirements and resignations including maintenance supervisor Charles Mann effective June 30, 2025, and Pamela Hartwell’s resignation as high‑school assistant softball coach effective March 7, 2025. The personnel recommendations were approved; the transcript records the retirement/resignation approvals passing by a 4‑0 vote with Mrs. Harvey recusing herself on that item. Additional employment, extra‑duty and volunteer recommendations were approved by a later 5‑0 vote.
Board members asked staff to place retired employees’ affidavits and levy rates on the next meeting agenda and to review a retention policy to ensure compliance with impending state requirements. The board adjourned at approximately 7:25 p.m.
