A project representative described sketches showing how the site could accommodate bus parking and related needs and told the board the bus company later requested space for office trailers, sanitary facilities and refueling. The representative noted the engineering proposal includes stormwater management and an updated grading plan.
The board discussed a not‑to‑exceed fee with staff. The project representative said the district would return to the board for additional approval if the cost exceeded that amount; staff said they do not expect the proposal to exceed the estimate.
The motion to approve items 10.1–10.3 passed at the meeting. Staff said the intent is to make district property more useful for negotiating long‑term bus contracts in 2026. The board did not approve construction on the ground at this meeting; the vote authorized design and civil work only.
