Robinson's Rescue credits spay/neuter programs with sharp drop in parish shelter euthanasia
Robinson's Rescue told the Caddo Parish Commission its outreach and subsidized spay/neuter programs have helped lower the parish shelter euthanasia rate from about 83% in 2012 to roughly 28% in 2024; staff described voucher days and outreach work that produced more than 100 appointments at a recent event.
