Planning commission recommends approval for second dwelling at 9815 Point Road

The Jones County Planning and Zoning Commission voted to forward a positive recommendation to the county commissioners for a conditional use permitting a second dwelling on a 5-acre parcel at 9815 Point Road; the applicants said the unit (about 1,100 sq ft) is intended for a 93-year-old family member. Commissioners will consider final approval on March 3.
