At its June 2 meeting the council approved a major subdivision, several land‑use amendments and annexations, passed downtown preservation grants, and voted to reject all bids for a street/intersection project and rebid. An attorney for a disappointed bidder had accused staff of misapplying unbalanced‑bid rules before the rebid decision.
