The Clay County Planning Commission opened a public hearing on an extensive update to the county land development code that staff said began in April 2023 and is now available in full as a draft online. Matt, a county staff member, told commissioners the update is near the end of the process and that planners will present the full draft to the planning commission and then likely forward it to the Clay County Board of Commissioners for adoption.
