The Rio Rancho Planning and Zoning Board approved a slate of plats and master plans at its Feb. 10 meeting, including Terra Alto at Mariposa, the Cielo Bonito master plan, and the Vista Alegia master plan, and recommended several zone-map amendments to the governing body.
The board moved quickly through consent items and monthly reports before taking up development projects. Planner Tim Dvorak told commissioners the Amstoy preliminary/final plat dedicates a small parcel of right-of-way to the city and that city utilities had increased the dedication to 0.0183 acres; the board approved that plat. On the Terra Alto at Mariposa preliminary plat, staff reported a revised site plan and trail easements intended to protect an unmapped rim trail.
