She described student leadership "squads" aligned to grade levels that created brag boards and celebrated positive behaviors tied to the Seven Habits curriculum.
Davidson noted community service projects: a quarter‑one penny war raised $415 for the humane society and a quarter‑two candy cane sale raised $275 for a warming shelter; students selected the recipient agencies. She also reported that the students had met their quarter‑two reading goal, logging 12,258 minutes against a goal of about 6,000 minutes, and described a school‑wide celebration planned for Thursday in which students will make the principal into a human sundae.
Board members praised the diversity of activities and the school's outreach. The chair thanked Davidson for the presentation.
