Finance committee backs recommendation to replace county accounting system with Tyler Technologies

The Grundy County Finance Committee voted Feb. 9 to forward to the full county board a recommendation to replace the county's CIC accounting system with Tyler Technologies. Committee members described the current CIC system as antiquated and Microsoft Access'driven, and said the replacement would consolidate functions across treasury, finance, payroll and human resources.
