Commissioners adopt coordinated transit plan, approve two utility permits and move to executive session

The commissioners then approved two utility permits: a utility permit for Spectrum to work on Simmons Church Road in Liberty Township, and a separate utility permit for work on Apple Valley Drive in Howard Township. Both permits passed by voice vote following motions and seconds.
Finally, the board voted to move into an executive session at 11:01 a.m. to discuss the auditor of state's post-audit of 2024 with public-officials present. Commissioners recorded their assent to the executive session and stated no further public business would be conducted that day.
Vote and next steps: The votes on the noncontroversial procedural items were taken by voice (ayes recorded); the executive session was convened for the stated audit purpose and no public action was taken during the meeting to adopt new county policy or to commit funds.
