Licensed massage owner urges Sandy Springs to keep permit system, boost enforcement
At the March 3 council meeting, massage business owner Yin Pan urged the city to maintain its permit system, provide transition periods for recently expired permits, and increase enforcement and fees to combat illegal massage operations affecting licensed businesses.

"My name is Yin Pan, and I'm the massage owner of Sandy Springs," Yin Pan said during public comment, introducing herself and listing local licensed operations including TJ Massage, Half Solution Massage Spa, and Head to Toe Spa. Pan said licensed operators "fully support regulations, stronger enforcement, and following the rules in the massage industry" and urged the city to continue the permit system and the police department's enforcement efforts to keep the community safe.
