The stated eligibility criteria are: experience using data.census.gov or other statistical sites for research or decision‑making, or experience working with and manipulating datasets.
To participate or get more information, Mendez provided the usability contact email ced.cedsci.usability.list@census.gov and reiterated a general contact address for data questions at census.data@census.gov. The bureau also pointed attendees to training workshops and short instructional "data gems" on its site for users who want to learn more before volunteering.
The request for volunteers was part of the webinar’s wrap-up; the Census Bureau said it will follow up by email with those who meet the eligibility criteria and thanked attendees for providing feedback.
