Civil Service Commission votes to cancel May 9 meeting
The Lake Stevens Civil Service Commission voted to cancel its May 9 meeting at the request of chief examiner Julie Good, who will attend a conference and said no oral boards were expected before then.

Julie Good, the city’s senior human resources specialist and chief examiner, asked the commission to either reschedule or cancel its May 9 meeting because she will be out of town at a conference and cannot guarantee reliable connectivity. Good said she did not anticipate oral boards before that date and that the only business would be approving minutes from the April meeting.
