City staff presented a consent agenda listing 13 orders and nine resolutions covering a range of routine contracts and fiscal items. Highlights included a contract for Arctic Wolf managed security software, sole-source support and maintenance subscriptions for e-Builder and the records management system, renewal of grounds-maintenance requirements in the Entertainment District, annual library materials purchases, procurement of five autonomous mowers, engineering design contracts including a Lake Arlington Dam engineering services contract, a professional services contract for resiliency management and mental-health training for the Fire Department, construction of four dynamic message signs in the Entertainment District, and authorization to negotiate an electricity supply contract.
Mayor Ross pulled two items (7.17 and 7.2) for separate handling. The council approved the remaining consent items by motion. Item 7.17 — nomination for the Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors vacancy — was later approved on a motion from Council Member Pham, seconded by Council Member Hogg. Item 7.2 was continued at the applicant’s request to Jan. 27.
