Town staff told the council that Waste Management identified an overcharge in last year—ontract true‑up and will remit a check for $4,443.07 to the town. Russell said the figure came after WM reduced the projected true‑up from about $21,000 last year to roughly $5,000 this year and discovered an earlier overbilling.
