Planning board approves preliminary and final plat to realign 15th Street Southeast

The City of Rio Rancho Planning and Zoning Board approved a preliminary and final plat to reconfigure 15th Street Southeast, consolidating four lots into two tracts and dedicating a 50-foot right-of-way to bring the roadway into alignment with the Unit 10 specific area plan and the MRCOG long-range roadway map. Liz Luis Carlos, planner for the City of Rio Rancho, described the proposal as a right-of-way realignment that relocates public utility easements and connects existing segments of 15th Street Southeast north and south of West Side Boulevard.
