Potter said staff and committee members thought the municipality might appropriately intervene on laundry facilities and suggested exploring insulated containerized laundromat units, which he said can cost up to about $80,000.
Committee members placed the issue on the radar for budget discussions and asked staff to look into whether a year-round containerized laundromat or other fixes would be practical and where funding might come from.
