Sen. Williams introduced SB146 to the Senate Rules Committee, describing it as a cemetery-protection measure he has worked on for several years with Sen. Hatchett. "This is a cemetery protection bill that I've been working on several years with Senator Hatchett," he said, adding it would expand protections where graves are being disturbed and give heirs access to maintain plots.
