City planning staff presented a conditional use permit request on Feb. 9 to allow a roofing contractor's yard at 3500 Isabella Street, a reuse of a vacant former car-wash building along the M-20 corridor. The planning commission had recommended approval by a 6—0 vote, and staff walked council through contingencies related to fencing, fire access and parking striping.
