Council approves engineering study for Old Settlers Boulevard bridge
Round Rock authorized a $129,000 engineering contract with HDR to evaluate and design repairs for a 40-year-old bridge on Old Settlers Boulevard after TxDOT inspections identified cracking, spalling and failing expansion-joint components.

The council approved a resolution authorizing HDR Engineering to perform an engineering study and develop designs for repairs to a bridge on Old Settlers Boulevard, a structure built in 1986 that staff said shows cracking, spalling and issues with expansion joints and metal brace components.
