One commissioner said the phrase “non‑agricultural development” was misleading and recommended staff research the intended source language and how it has been applied elsewhere.
Commissioners agreed to explore the matter further and take up a few of the comprehensive‑plan points at subsequent meetings rather than attempt a complete rewrite at a single session. The commission did not vote on or adopt any change to the comprehensive plan at this meeting.
