Resident urges transparency, update on long-delayed Leander sports complex

Cummings said she recently attended a Parks and Recreation meeting and learned more about how local projects are discussed, and that community members want more transparency and a clear plan rather than repeated delays. She asked the commission and city officials to provide an update soon.
The commission did not take action on the comment but acknowledged the request for clarity and noted city staff and council are positioned to provide project updates.
The meeting proceeded to the consent agenda after public comments closed.
