Commission adopts zone text amendment to make RMH side setbacks 8 feet both sides
The County adopted Resolution 2025-090 to amend Gallatin County/Bozeman-area zoning so the residential mobile home (RMH) subdistrict requires 8-foot side setbacks on both sides, aligning RMH with similar subdistricts and city standards; staff said no public comments were received and the planning board recommended approval.

The Gallatin County Commission voted Oct. 28 to adopt a zone text amendment (Resolution No. 2025-090) that changes the RMH (residential mobile home) subdistrict side-yard setback requirement from an asymmetric 8 feet on one side and 20 feet on the other to 8 feet on both sides.
