Commissioners move forward on fire station work, seawall and bridge agreements

On the bridge and seawall, the board discussed sequencing and costs. The chair said he preferred to begin with the seawall and bridge and place another project on the five-year plan; the board approved motions directing staff to begin the agreement process and to prioritize the seawall and bridge work.
What happens next: staff will begin executing agreements with the third-party consultant that manages funds and will return with draft agreements and scheduling, with early steps projected at 3–6 months to execute agreements and begin work.
