The fire marshal reviewed the plans and requested that compressed‑gas cylinders and hazardous gases be kept in a secure cage; staff also noted outstanding items including full‑cutoff outdoor lighting details, a Knox box for emergency access at a gated development, demolition permits for unwanted structures, and a support sleeve for a septic lateral under the roadway.
Applicant representatives agreed to address the outstanding items and staff told the board they could approve the plan subject to those revisions. A board member moved to approve the site plan with the added condition that the containment system for hazardous gases and the Knox box be shown on final plans as requested by the fire marshal. The motion passed on roll call (Gotcher, Kitterman, Lloyd, Doctor Neal, Reams, Sanders), recorded as 6–0.
Staff will circulate the remaining engineering comments to the applicant and verify compliance with the fire marshal's requirements prior to issuing final approval and permits.
