IT Director Doug Fessler and Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney outlined a proposed 'Phase Tracker' to inform staff about the stage of county projects and reduce the spread of inaccurate information. The tracker would display stages such as planning and site selection, design development, funding and approvals, construction, commissioning and move‑in; staff discussed both a physical report and an online app integrated with CAMAS with multi‑level authorizations for different access.
The board expressed support and asked IT to assist in the development process. Separately, IT suggested using a service‑level analysis exercise at the Board's recent management retreat to help departments visualize financial positions and align departmental plans with the Board's vision.
The minutes do not record formal motions or votes on either initiative; they were presented as proposals for IT to pursue administratively.
