County staff presented a proposed extension of the interlocal agreement with Grant County Public Utility District No. 2 to continue the county’s partnership serving patrons of the Vantage Boat Ramp from June 1, 2025, to June 1, 2026.
Public Works staff member Josh Fredrickson introduced the extension request. Vice Chair Cory Wright noted the agreement as presented did not include Appendix A referenced on page 2, and the board asked to review Appendix A before moving forward. The board did not take a vote on the extension during the study session and asked staff to return the item for further consideration at an upcoming meeting.
The record does not include the text of Appendix A or specifics about what Appendix A would change in the agreement. No timeline for the continued discussion was set on the record.
The study session also included emailed public comment about maintenance of the Vantage Boat Launch and the county’s partnership with Grant County PUD; staff did not provide a response on the record during this session.
