Nelson County signs 9-1-1 joint powers agreement and amends Tyler Technologies contract

The joint powers agreement was offered to the commission for consideration and Commissioner Steve Forde moved to sign it; Commissioner Cameron Swenson seconded and the motion carried with all members voting yes. The agreement was described in the meeting as intended to streamline distribution of funds tied to 9-1-1 fees.
Auditor Nathan Parks presented an amendment to the county’s contract with Tyler Technologies proposing that the first payment not be required until the county has access to the software. Commissioner Cameron Swenson moved to sign the contract amendment and Commissioner Aaron Mork seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with all members voting yes.
Both votes were recorded by roll call in the meeting minutes; no additional conditions or amendments to the agreements were recorded in the transcript.
