Buffalo County approves three change orders for 610 Central project

The County approved Change Orders #16 ($11,285.97), #17 ($5,127.78) and #18 ($839.33) for the 610 Central construction project; all were processed from the project contingency of the Guaranteed Maximum Price.
Beckenhauer Construction Project Manager Mike Koch and Facilities Director Steve Gaasch presented updates on the 610 Central construction project at the Aug. 23 meeting. The board approved three requested change orders (Requests #16–#18) totaling $17,253.08; the minutes indicate those costs were processed from the project contingency within the Guaranteed Maximum Price.
The board voted to approve the change orders on a roll call. Facilities staff also reported that roofing and gutter replacement RFP bids were opened and that the Facilities OMP Committee will review proposals and return recommendations to the board at a subsequent meeting.
The change orders and RFP bid opening were recorded in the county minutes and are on file with the County Clerk.
