Greer County commissioners approve transfers, purchase orders and routine reports in unanimous votes

The Greer County Board of Commissioners used its Feb. 2 meeting to approve a slate of fiscal and administrative items by unanimous votes.
Among the fiscal actions, the board approved a transfer to repay a temporary loan from REAP Grant M&O to District #1 M&O and approved a transfer from Sheriff's VAWA PS to Sheriff's Service Fee PS. Commissioners also approved purchase orders and reimbursement of multiple claims across departments; the minutes show a long list of vendors and amounts, including City of Mangum ($4,274.83), Red Dirt Assessments ($4,242.00) and Oklahoma State Department of Health ($3,650.71). Other approved items included an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the Greer County Chamber of Commerce regarding room rental, Resolution #2026-6 (notice of election of Greer County Fair Board directors), allocation of alcoholic beverage tax, motor vehicle tax, and various appropriations. Commissioners also voted to request that the Excise Board appropriate funds. All recorded motions related to approvals were carried with votes recorded as York—aye, Barnes—aye, Fite—aye.
