Commission approves fairgrounds master‑plan revisions, event permit and multiple replats
Roosevelt County commissioners approved revisions to the Fairgrounds Master Plan, a public celebration permit for an IBCA BBQ event (Oct. 11–13), a renewed fairboard agreement and three summary replats after staff reported no adverse utility or neighbor objections.

Special Programs Coordinator Carla Weems and Maintenance Superintendent Gary Spinks presented proposed revisions to the Fairgrounds Master Plan, including a possible additional north‑side span on the pavilion and confirmation that covered horse stalls have water access. Commissioners approved the revisions unanimously (mover: Commissioner Dennis Lopez; second: Commissioner Tina Dixon).
