During the Sept. 10 public requests period, community member Lawrence Thompson addressed the commission about a county employee who had been terminated without cause after 11 years of service and later rehired by her former employer. Thompson asked the commission to consider whether the termination had been "legal, moral or ethical." No follow-up investigation, staff directive or vote was recorded in the meeting minutes.
