Commissioners noted that most Minnesota counties already operate central mapping servers and that licensing costs were included in the 2026 IT budget. The board moved to proceed with the ESRI server purchase and implementation.
In the same agenda block, the board declared legacy Commissioner Room A/V equipment — including cameras, panels, microphones and associated cabling — surplus and authorized staff to list the items on GovDeals for public auction.
