Buffalo County approves crushed-concrete processing permit with five-year inventory limit and setbacks
The board approved a Special Use Permit (Res. 2025-15) allowing Rockin' H Trucking & Cattle Inc. to operate a crushed concrete processing and storage site, subject to conditions including removal of inventory within five years, a 50-foot setback, entry signage listing 5015 Buffalo Creek Road, and a road maintenance agreement for Buffalo Creek Road.

The Buffalo County Board of Commissioners approved a Special Use Permit on March 25 permitting a crushed concrete processing and storage site on a parcel north of Interstate 80 and west of U.S. Highway 183. The application was filed by Jay Sporer on behalf of Neil Hinrichsen of Rockin’ H Trucking & Cattle Inc., and was approved as Resolution 2025-15.
